Just wanted to show everyone the photos we had taken of Emmaline. Emmaline was very eager to please this time around, trying out different "poses" she made up of her own. And she honestly was trying to figure out what the photographer was trying to get her to do. It was really funny yet heartbreaking to watch her do it. She is just growing up too quickly.

I recently went through some of her baby clothes to give to another young woman who is having a little girl, and I almost started crying at the sight of those tiny little clothes. I miss my baby girl!

We went to the park yesterday afternoon. There is a park a few miles down the road from us, but it has been torn up for construction. So we had to go further down the road to a small park that is full of obscene graffiti. We will not be taking Emmaline there once she starts learning to read. It's a shame young people feel the need to abuse the very things that were put there for them to enjoy. Oh well, no need for you guys to have to listen to an old fuddy-duddy like me!

Emmaline had fun on the slides and swings, and Ian actually enjoyed the swings as well...once he got used to the motion of it. He eventually ended up falling asleep in the swing. It was so cute. Oh, and Mom, there's a picture of him wearing the shoes you got him!

I forgot all about this visit! My friend Lisa invited us to go to the zoo with her and some other mothers from our church a few weeks back. David decided he needed a break from us, so he sent us on our merry way! It was nice for all. Unfortunately, it's harder now to take pictures with two kids instead of one. These were all I managed to get.

A few nights ago I decided that we should play a board game as a family. We decided on the game Sorry. We didn't get very far...Emmaline had a rather different idea of how the game should be played!
