Since I seem to be on a streak tonight, I figured I should update everyone on the status of my loverly diet and Emmaline's vomitting.

Emmaline is completely fine!! I found out last Monday (not this past Monday) that Emmaline was just getting a slight touch of constipation. This was enough to make her back up and eventually spew. So, I have found out that rice, potatoes and cooked carrots are some of the main culprits. Unfortunately, while I was on my demon allergen-free diet I was still eating the afore mentioned foods so my diet wasn't working. Thank God He finally showed us what was going on! No more acedophilus, no more diet!!!!!!!!

On a sad note, since I have had to go so long without sweets, especially chocolate, and coffee, I can no longer eat or drink very much before getting a stomach ache. Oh well, you win some you lose some...

Here it is folks!! My first knitting project that I have ever completed!!! I mean fully completed. It is completely finished!! Nothing more needs to be done to it.

This is a Feather and Fan blanket pattern made with Muench "Big Baby" Multi yarn on size US 11 circular needles. I used the colors "Melon Mix" and "Spring Mix".

For those of you who know me well, you may or may not know that I am the Queen of taking on a project, getting really close to finishing, yet never quite achieving the full end! Well, I have finally broken that cycle!! Of course, I still have two other knitting projects that have been in the works for a while, and a ton of crocheting to do, but hey! why not revel in this one victory?

Here are a few wonders of Spring that are on our property. Our Japanese maples are so full of lustrous green leaves! They look so full and soft, that I just want to go and bury my face in them. I feel like, if I were small enough, I would like to get lost in those trees. They are just so beautiful! I think I like them better when they are green and not a reddish purple.

We started giving Emmaline solid foods about a week ago for a number of reasons. She is able to sit up with support, she is refusing to take her evening nap therefor staying up with us through dinner and she will just sit there and watch David's fork going from plate to mouth! It's actually quite humorous to watch.

Today she figured out that she can suck the food off her spoon, and in attempting to do so actually ends up blowing a lot of it off the spoon, but she is actually trying to eat the food now. Before she would turn her head this way and that, trying to pay attention to anything but the food, now she actually bends her head down trying to get to the spoon. I am so proud!!

Also on a good note, Emmie is trying to roll over when she is lying on her stomach. Most of the time she will just lie there and cry until I turn her over, but the past two times she has had "tummy time" she has actually made a conscious effort to turn herself over. She has only turned herself over once when she was about a month old. I don't know how she did, David and I completely missed it, as we were trying to clean up our apartment and were walking from room to room. All of the sudden it got really quiet, and we realized Emmaline wasn't crying anymore. When I went to investigate I found her on her back!

So, we recently joined an Italian Greyhound Meetup Group! Henry and Sophie have made some new friends, and we have been able to socialize with people who are just as crazy as we are!

Smoke, Dottie, Bailey, and Jameson are the illustrious other IGs. Unfortunately, Jameson's owners were a little embarassed by their dog's behaviour as he was constantly following Henry around trying to hump him. They apologized a lot and in the end got very frustrated with Jameson, since Bailey their other dog was in heat, and he was completely ignoring her. We told them it was all right; Henry just has that special something that drives male dogs crazy!!
