David went through a bit of a guilt trip after we had Ian. I think we both felt like we had betrayed her somehow. As an attempt to restore ourselves into her good graces David went crazy and bought her a brand new kitchen and little kid-size picnic table. And when we went to a consignment sale to get her some books and clothes, he bought her three more toys. Now, for anyone who knows my David they will be shocked to think he would spend that much money! However, my darling husband has an incredibly soft, some would even say mushy, spot for his daughter, especially when she gives him her little doe eyes! It really is nice to see just how much David has warmed up to being a father! He is wonderful!
