Week 18

I went to see my midwife today. I am measuring 17 weeks along and have gained 7 pounds. The baby's heartbeat was fine; the baby gave Carrie (one of the two midwives at the birthing center) a hard time by evading her constantly. We finally settled for a weak signal of the heartbeat.

The baby has been moving around a lot pretty much all day long, but at least this one is a lot more gentle than Emmaline was. At least for now! Not much else going on in the pregnancy world...
